Ho Chi Minh City for people in a hurry
This short-stay Saigon highlights program is designed for visitors with limited time or returning
guests who want to quickly settle into Ho Chi Minh City's vibrant celebration of
life. Your Purple Dragon guide will conduct you around the city, with special
emphasis on must-see attractions and popular or newly-opened entertainment
venues. You do not have to be gay to enjoy this package. More and more
mainstream guests travel with Purple Dragon because they know they will get something better from a gay company.
Your whirlwind adventure in Saigon begins when our guide greets you at the airport. The remaining time on this day and evening are free for you to see and be seen. The afternoon is yours to enjoy on your own. Why not hunt for bargains in cavernous Ben Thanh, Vietnam's largest public market. Tonight, our evening guide gives you a taste of nightlife Saigon style.

Enjoy an early breakfast before you begin a flurry of sightseeing with your private guide around Saigon. After a visit to the History Museum you pass the site of the now-demolished wartime American Embassy and on to Reunification Palace. Later, you visit Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon's French colonial post office and then the War Crimes Museum. After a noodle stop, continue to Cho Lon, Ho Chi Minh City's Chinatown, crammed with fascinating temples and mysterious, narrow lanes to explore. The market here is older than Ben Thanh, and nearly as large. Your guide will gladly help you negotiate for treasures. You are free tonight to dine with a new friend or step out onto one of Saigon's jam-packed dance floors.

Your morning is at liberty. Later, your guide will deliver you to the airport for your departure flight, but why not extend your stay and enjoy optional side trips in Saigon, Sapa, Hanoi and Halong Bay or the ancient wonders of Hue and Hoi An.
TET Holiday 2010:We regret that Purple Dragon can not accept Vietnam reservations during the period 14 through 19 February 2010 due to the TET (Vietnamese New Year) Holiday. Since it is considered unlucky to work during this period, practically everything closes, everyone takes a vacation, and some prices double. We do not recommend visiting during this time because there are no public festivities and visitors are left with almost nothing to do.
